I had a delightful stay at a hostel in Fremantle, located conveniently near the shops and train station. The friendly and helpful staff made me feel right at home. The cleanliness of the rooms, kitchens, and living areas was impressive. It's a perfect choice for seniors looking to spend some time in Fremantle.
It would have been better if the hostel accepted credit cards instead of cash. A more convenient check-in process would have made the experience even more enjoyable for senior guests.

I recently stayed at the Old Fire Station in Fremantle for a few days and had a great experience. The location was perfect for my trip to Rottnest Island, as it was only a one-minute walk to B shed. The staff went above and beyond, offering me a shower even after I had checked out earlier in the day. The girls dorm felt like a retreat with its own lounge room, kitchen, and bathrooms. The common areas were spacious and well-equipped with Netflix, pool tables, and gaming consoles. The staff made me feel at home and the kitchens were the cleanest I've ever seen in a hostel.
I can recommend this hotel.

I absolutely loved the charming and cozy atmosphere of the backpackers. The decor had a lovely vintage touch and the common areas were spacious and well-maintained. As a senior woman, I found it very accessible with plenty of comfortable seating options. The staff was friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome and at ease. The location was also great, with easy access to public transportation and nearby amenities.
If I had to suggest one improvement for a better vacation experience for senior people, it would be to have more assistance from the staff in terms of carrying bags or providing assistance with any luggage-related needs. While the atmosphere was wonderful, I found that the young staff members were focused on other tasks and sometimes not readily available to assist with heavier luggage or offer extra support for older guests.
